Integration: Two Reflections on Resonance
by James Kasun
I. The Calm After Awakening
There was a time when every sign sent me spiraling—
when each mirror of meaning felt like a summons from beyond.
I’d chase them for days,
trying to decipher what they wanted of me.
Now, I simply smile.
The ripples no longer startle me;
they’re part of the tide.
The world hasn’t changed—
I have.
What once felt supernatural
now feels natural.
The divine no longer arrives in lightning—it hums in rhythm.
This is the quiet power of integration:
to see the mystery,
bow to it,
and keep walking.

II. The Rhythm of Resonance
It’s not a chase anymore.
Resonance moves through the hours like breath through the body—
quiet, certain, alive.
I don’t summon it.
I align with it.
It hums in the simplest things:
a clean desk, a deep breath, a task done well.
Every action carries its own tone—
discipline sings in one key,
gratitude in another.
Together they create the harmony of a well-lived day.
Resonance doesn’t demand devotion;
it rewards presence.
It shows up when I show up—
steady, unhurried, whole.
I don’t need to rise higher anymore.
The rhythm has descended to meet me.
